The Comparison of Old And New Country Music
Why are the country purists so upset with how new country music has progressed over the years? It seems that the trends have gone from the traditional country sounds of Hank Williams, Buck Owens and Willie Nelson into a much more mainstream and commercially successful avenue. What does this mean for country music at large? Essentially, country music has fused with commercial pop. In this light, country music has evolved in an interesting way. For instance, the production on newer country music seems to attract pop music fans, instead of hardcore country music fanatics.
What Is This Great Divide In The Country Music World?
The trend of country has changed more than any other genre of music. Some critics have argued that traditional hip hop has transformed into rap, which is a harder and more aggressive genre of music. However, the same could be said for country music. By this, I mean that the old sounds of country have transformed into a more universally accepted and commercially successful music genre. It is no wonder why this has cause such a controversy within the traditional country music scene, but the evolution of country music continues to become more and more pop.

How Country Has Risen To The Top of The Charts
Country music is one of the fastest growing genres in music history. Although country music has evolved slowly, it has risen to be one of the most popular genres of music today. Artists like Taylor Swift, Garth Brooks, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and Kenny Chesney have become household names. In this fashion, country music is becoming one of the most economically sustainable styles of music in history. In a music industry where everyone is complaining of change and financial instability, country music artists have become the fastest grossing musicians on the planet.
The Popularity of Country Music In Modern Times
The popularity of country music is unprecedented in musical history. By this, I mean country music is one of the few musical genres that have become an instant form of success. Likewise, early hip hop transitioned into rap music, which has maintained a leading figure in the world of music commerce. What is it about country music that people are going crazy over? Is it the patriotic themes or is the multi-million dollar marketing machine of country that is pulling in new listeners every year?

No one has mastered living the good life quite like Kenny Chesney. His Jimmy Buffet influence is apparent in this beach bums music and shows, but he definitely is not lazy by any means. He has toured heavily since 2001 and has won the Billboard Touring Award six of those years. With just under twenty albums to his name, he has plenty of material to choose from for his shows.
Fans pile into arenas and stadiums year after year to come to a good-time party show. He has toured with Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Lee Ann Womack, Montgomery Gentry, Sara Evans, Gary Allan, Zac Brown Band, Keith Urban, and, most recently, Eric Church and Eli Young Band. Chesney has recorded songs with Tim McGraw, Tracy Lawrence, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire and George Strait.
While Kenny Chesney has been in the spotlight for many years now, he could not manage to mix marriage with fame. His 2005 marriage to actress Renee Zellweger ended after just four months. While this triggered some rumors about Chesney, he managed to pull through the annulment and move on with his life stating he really did not fully understand what marriage involved.

The problem with country music is that it can all get a little "samey." Beyond the stars that really stand out like Carrie Underwood and Kenny Rogers, you have the artists and the songs that pretty much fulfill the stereotype of country music. Songs that literally run through the checklist of country music tropes like cars breaking down, wives leaving, dogs dying.
If you're starting to lose that passion for country music, I would invite you to take a look off the beaten path at some artists who you might not have heard about.
We'll start with Kimber Sparks. While her music and her style are clearly evocative of the stereotypical country music tropes, one need only listen to her lyrics to understand there is a darker, underlying meaning. The pain and darkness in her stories are palpable and real.
Next we have Kelly Kenning, a man of many talents that go far beyond song. His mother sang country and the influence is clear in Kenning's performance and delivery of some of the most recognizable songs. Despite his success, Kenning isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and spends most of his time performing live instead of stuffed in some recording booth.
If you look hard enough and you get a good internet service through http://www.satelliteinternetspecials.net/hughes-net/ or something similar, you'll find that these people are everywhere - redefining country by putting their own fresh spin on the legendary genre.

Taylor Swift has some very lofty goals and aspirations for her career. She is obviously interested in acting and singing. She has a passion for the arts and a love for giving to others.
When people hear about her tours some people are surprised to know that she makes, on average, about a 1,000,000 per concert. This may seem insane, but when the numbers are averaged out this is what it comes down to.

On the lighter side of things Taylor has been part of the cast for movies like Valentine's Day. She has also been given a shot as the guest host on Saturday Night Live. Taylor Swift's ability to sing and act gave the show some funny skits and great musical performances.

The country's love for country music has been drastically growing over the past few years. Country is no longer associated with break ups and depressing themes. Today, country is viewed as a fun genre of music. Its songs include groups of individuals getting together for a good old time. Along with having fun, country music also focuses on the important things in life, such as family and love. This summer, country music has impressed everyone with all the great hits that have taken over the music charts. These country songs have had hundreds of thousands of people dancing and singing along. This
helps explain it more.
One of the great hits of the summer is Luke Bryan's hit single, "Drunk On You." This song is about a man singing about the girl of his dreams. He describes her power over him, comparing it to being drunk. His lyrics, along with the beat, made this song an instant hit. Another chart topper this summer was Eric Church's song "Springsteen." This song is about a guy thinking back to his teenage years. He mentions his love at the time, and talks about all the memories they have had. He questions whether or not she thinks about him as well.
